Please read these Terms carefully before using BondLock. By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and BondLock ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the BondLock mobile application ("App") available on iOS and Android.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU) and that you accept and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
BondLock is a family time management application that helps users set screen-free goals, track family time, and earn rewards for spending quality time with family members. The App includes:
BondLock does not require account registration. All data you enter (family members, goals, progress) is stored locally on your device only. You are solely responsible for maintaining your device and the data stored on it.
You agree not to misuse the App or attempt to access it using methods other than the interface we provide.
BondLock is free to download and use with one family member connection. Core features are available without payment.
BondLock offers optional premium subscriptions that unlock additional features including unlimited family members, advanced analytics, and exclusive content. Available plans:
If a free trial is offered, it begins on the date you subscribe. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged the subscription price. Only one free trial per Apple ID or Google account.
We do not process refunds directly. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple and Google's respective policies.
You agree to use BondLock only for its intended purpose. You must not:
The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and content, is owned by BondLock and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the App beyond the limited right to use it.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content.
Content you create within the App (family member names, goals, photos, notes) is stored locally on your device. You retain full ownership of your content. Since we have no server access to your content, we make no claim to it.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
BondLock is a tool to encourage family time and is not a substitute for professional family counseling, therapy, or medical advice. Results and family outcomes may vary.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BondLock and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BondLock and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion.
You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. Cancellation of subscriptions must be done through Apple or Google as described in Section 4.5.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have rights under your local consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded by these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
